Golden Awards are presented for individual academic achievement and success. Children are given a special golden sticker and Golden Award certificate during our special Golden Assembly on a Friday afternoon.
The Blue Sparkly Award is a great way to reward and celebrate achievement outside school. This is primarily for significant sporting or personal achievements, but can also be used for a wider range of reasons. The Sports Star Award is presented to an individual who has particularly shone in PE. Children are given a certificate and a special sticker during our Golden Assembly on a Friday afternoon.
Chance Cards are awarded for politeness, helpfulness and many other things! If a child is spotted being particularly kind to others, or opening the door for an adult – then Chance Cards can be awarded by all staff in school. Children who have received Chance Cards write their name on the back of each card and this is then placed in a special box outside the Headteacher’s office. A draw takes place at the end of each school term and the prize winners are chosen from all children who have been awarded Chance Cards.
