At the HSL Annual General Meeting on Thursday 7th September 2023, the following HSL Committee members were nominated and elected:
HSL Chair – Jo Crisp
HSL Vice Chair – Sophie Hopkins
HSL Treasurer – Fiona Waterson
HSL Secretary – Helen Gregory
The HSL are always looking for new parents and other family members to support their fundraising activities - so please get in touch if you can offer some time to help. All funds raised by the HSL are ploughed back into school to provide all children with a wide range of additional activities and opportunities.
I am delighted to report that this academic year the HSL has provided the following financial support to our school:
£250 toward the cost of coach travel for each class (a total of £1,750). Classes will use this funding to subsidise the cost of one or more trips and therefore reduce the overall cost to parents. Any money that was leftover from last year’s donation will move up with the year group so they don’t miss out.
£1000 towards the annual, whole school pantomime trip. This donation has significantly reduced the overall cost of the trip to parents this year.
£600 towards the cost of items for our Outdoor Learning Area. These resources can be used and enjoyed by all pupils.
